Based in Ireland, Momentum is an award-winning education and innovation organisation dedicated to designing transformative learning experiences that empower individuals and communities. With a strong focus on inclusion, entrepreneurship, and regional development, Momentum brings deep expertise in project dissemination, digital learning design, and stakeholder engagement—making them a perfect fit for the Paths to Peace project.
Momentum co-leads Work Package 5 – Dissemination, Sustainability and Network Growth, ensuring that the project’s peacebuilding messages and tools reach far beyond the partnership. They are responsible for shaping the project’s identity, coordinating the branding and website design, and building momentum (pun intended!) behind our youth-led initiatives.
They also play a key supporting role in digital storytelling and communication training within the workshop and mentorship programme (WP3), and in amplifying the impact of youth proposals during the final Hackathon event (WP4).

Orla Casey – Director
A recognised thought leader in education and digital transformation, Orla is the founder of Momentum and brings strategic oversight to the team’s involvement in Paths to Peace. With a background in business, European law, and economics, Orla’s work has received national acclaim—including the IVI Award for Regional Impact, awarded by Intel and Maynooth University. Her passion for innovation in education and community empowerment drives Momentum’s role in creating accessible, meaningful, and far-reaching learning experiences.
Lola Gonzales – Diversity and Inclusion Specialist
Lola is a powerhouse in inclusion and empowerment, bringing over 20 years of experience to the project. Her work spans mentoring, enterprise support, and civic participation, particularly with migrant and minority communities in Ireland. She plays a key role in ensuring that Paths to Peace stays grounded in inclusive values, helping to guide both internal team processes and external outreach to marginalised youth. Lola’s community connections and insight into intercultural engagement enrich the project’s mission.
Gillian Keane – Graphic Designer and Digital Resource Creator
Gillian ensures that all training materials and project outputs are not only accessible but visually impactful. Her work turns complex peacebuilding themes into engaging learning resources that resonate with youth. With a background in graphic design and a strong commitment to mediation and social cohesion, Gillian’s contributions support both the visual identity of the project and the clarity of our educational content.
