Momentum Marketing Services (MMS) is an Irish-based education and innovation organisation with a strong European presence particularly in cross border integration and peace projects. MMS specialises in creating inclusive education systems and reaching young people with fewer opportunitiesā€”particularly those affected by social, economic, or cultural barriers. We specialise in capacity building for youth, youth educators and communities. Are experts in digital media education for young people, with a strong emphasis on digital wellbeing and resilience. MMS are proud to have inclusion and diversity, particularly in working with migrant youth and marginalised communities as a priority. We have also built a strong reputation in storytelling and media literacy to counter misinformation and promote social cohesion. MMS works at the intersection of youth empowerment, digital innovation, and community-based development. We are rooted in the border region of Leitrim between Southern and Northern Ireland. This enables us to draw directly from Irelandā€™s history of division, reconciliation, and peacebuilding and allows us to bring peacebuilding tools gained to the Paths to Peace project. We aim to help via Paths to Peace to build strong resilient bridges between young people from conflict areas and offer creative tourism experiences and skills-based pathways to ensure intercultural understanding. 

Our Key Role in the Paths to Peace Project: MMS is leading the communication, awareness building, promotion and sustainability of the project. We aim to share the projects message and make sure its results reach as many young people and youth educators as possible. Some of our key activities will include; 

  • Supporting young people to tell their peace stories through multi-media, caseĀ studiesĀ and social media.Ā 
  • Creating easy-to-use resources for teachers, youth workers, and communitiesĀ 
  • Reaching diverse and hard-to-reach youth, especially migrants and those facing disadvantageĀ 
  • Promoting project activities through websites, social media, and eventsĀ 
  • Connecting stakeholders to the Paths to Peace network which will span across Europe, including youth, diversity, and education organisationsĀ 

Laura Magan, Momentumā€™s Lead Tourism Specialist 

Laura is Momentumā€™s project lead on the Paths to Peace project. She is Momentumā€™s lead tourism specialist bringing a wealth of international tourism expertise gained primarily from her work in Australia for 10 years with Tourism Events Queensland, Southern Great Barrier Reef, and Darwin International Airport. She has an MA International Tourism and is a regular keynote speaker at local Irish universities on trending Tourism topics.
